| | I'd like to know the advantages and disadvantages between the two. | | | | Thanks and regards, | | However, I really like aperture reduction best after running the experiment while using .006" thick foils as the practical limit. This really w

| | | Hi, | | | I'd like to ask some tips about the merits and shortcomings o | | | of both screen printer and stencil printer. For small quantity and highly mixed usage, which type of printer is suitable to our | | | application? | | | The board

Simple differences. Both processes require a very similar machine platform, controlled motion, vision fiducial recognition and alignment of a substrate (PCB or hybrid ceramic) to the "image", the image being either a stencil (hence stencil printing)

Hi MPMENG, Thanks for you reply. I must say I am printing onto wafers& I'm still somewhat new to the process but much of the theory is the same as for PCB. I trialled it in the mean time and I did find that printing into the long side of the pad wa

I am engaged with SMT production and we are going to have a brand new SMT line and I am studing about the screen printing and I have seen most commonly used stencil thickness is 6mil and I need to know what is the best solder paste height we can achi

I got question on is there any variance for thickness of stencil with respect to stencil tension. Is ther any guideline for it.

The tension depends on the thickness of the stencil. Exp: stencil of 100µm => tension must be higher than 33N

Hi, We are using a 15mils to 5 mils step stencil with a metal blade. The 15mils area the surface is smooth and polish and in the 5mils area the surface is rough and porous because of the laser process. In the 5 mils area where there is no aperture t

Such huge difference between low and high thickness will definitely cause paste accumulation on the squeegee side. Normally is 2 mil max difference.Yes, dispense maybe help for thicker paste or print two times.

Helo, Is it common for actual print height of solder paste to exceed the stencil thickness. For example If the stencil is 6mill thick and the actual height of the print is apx. 10 or 11mill. What causes the paste height to be greater than the sten
