1. Check for pins or something else under the rails. 2. Check the motor for the axis and the sensor that defines up position(I doubt it there is an encoder for this motor) 3. check card 4. check interface cable

The delamination was caused by a board falling off the rails and the operator not paying attention. I was more concerned with what fumes are produced by a smouldering board.

We have similar machines and they will give errors like this if the adjustable sensor on the unload end is over the fixed or movable rail.

I decided to replace the psu with three din supplies since it was a repeatable issue with the 5v rail. Machine is back in operation now with no signs of problems.

Looking at your picture. Is this the first component in a reel with no tape header. If so that is your problem. Or is this a piece of cut tape that has been peeled and is sitting between a set of rails? sarason

Which one? I have used a HEKTOR. The blade, from what I remember, was held in place with a couple of guide rails and 1 socket head cap screw. Simple, easy, and worked like a champ.

Does anyone know of a good servicing company for Omniflow reflow ovens? Preferably in the north of the UK. The chain rails on ours have warped and need straightening. While the oven is still usable without, it is by no means ideal.

The right way in your case is to use shield with cover. Place, reflow, remove shield pick up rails/tabs, AOI, close cover.
