GSM camera lens

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 14 08:56:30 EST 2008 | geb

Hi, The machine is a Universal GSM1 flexhead. Is it possible to just change the lens of a 2.6mil camera for a 1mil or 0.5mil lens. Or do I have to buy a complete camera assembly to do this? Thanks, Grant

Re: 1 mil = ?? inches - why don't we all use the same thing ?

| | | I am not familiar with the "mil" metric. How many inches is in 1 mil? | | | | | | ...or 10 mil? | | | | | | | | 1 mil= .001 inches | | 10 mil= .010 inches | | Also, it has nothing to do with metric. | | | I was also confused with this sta

31 mil pitch components go either 1:1 or reduce 1 mil per side (you can reduce further if the foil thickness is > 7 mil.), you may want to try an oval shape here also.

1 mil or 25 um trace width

Can anyone in this world produce such small PCB/PWB trace widths? Lots of theory so far, but have not found anyone yet who can do it in practice.

The DRS systems are far superior. They don't compete with ERSA or Metcal. The nozzle technology, heaters, and software are so much better. I would find a used DRS22C and use it before those other systems. The vision system in the DRS22 is great

In printing, the thickness of solder paste perpendicular to the Squegge direction is always lower 1 mil than that parallel to the Squegge direction,so Insufficient Solder may occur.I think you may slow printing speed or widen appertures to resolve it.
