Steve, I agree, you should expect to have better results from double sided reflow. It is more difficult to dial in a wave solder process for SMT components than a reflow oven. Besides that - adhesive is just no fun to work with.

Does anybody out there have any experience with the MDC placement machines the Manncorp sells? How happy are you with them?

We are running an RMA flux (Kester 1515). Changing the angle didn't help any so we're back at 6 degrees and placing an order for the lambda nozzle changeover. Are you currently running the debridging knife?

Gee Greg I did not know you have been in this for 20+ years. One would have thought you might have figured out how to design a machine that could sell more than 5 per year. or was it that many?

The machine is a CP-6. Thanks to all for the replies. We may be able to specify the packaging for the parts, but being a consigned kit, it depends on if our customer has already ordered them or not.

Hi can anyone advise as to wether the Camalot Gemini 1 dispenser is capable of doing lines and circles as well as the high speed dots. The facility appears to be there in the software, just wondered whether anyone had tried.

Good morning, In this case separation speed doesnt affect print quality. Separation speed decrease makes print quality the same or worse. Apertures still remain blocked. Any ideas? Thanks. BR, Pavel

You cannot put these machines in a clean room enviornment, but if you must go with the MYdata a Philips Assembleon. They are easy to program and changeover a simple. Foot print should suit your needs. Where are you located?
