Where are you from? In Europe you can get Lubcon oils from AdoptSMT for example or ask the local distributor at Avia for 9560.

Oberon (oberonlube.com) makes a high temperature chain lube (oil). When our Heller oven was installed, we were told to use this as the replacement when our original volume of chain oil ran out. I do not know the price for it.

Has anyone located an alternate source for the Fuchs Stabylan oil that Vitronics calls for ? $65 a pint seems a little stiff.

We have 5 ovens that we use this oil on. Its like $23.00 per pint from the manufacturer. But they say you have to buy a case of 24. I just went ahead and bought it from Vitronics.

I generally do not design an array larger than 10" x 12". Other than just thermal mass, the one issue to watch with extra length is if the array is so large that it spans multiple heat zones at the same time. We have panels that are up to 48" l

10x6 to 12x8 is ideal for most equipment. Too small panel is not good too for handling by humans and machines. 1.6mm you can use as and depanel on the router. 0.6mm you might need to run on SMT carrier, if you see warping.
