Jetting paste is no easy , ball mesh size and metal loading, SG and the dynamic rehology of the flux medium need to be matched to the jetting forces from the dispensing system. There are many jetting valve makers Musashi from Japan, Nordson Lyquidyn

Check out Precision Valve & Automation Latham, NY Phone: 518-782-3436 They make a relatively inexpensive system for applying material. You can choose spray or valve dispensing or both. The product is built simply and has been relatively easy to set

For components with the large pads, you can also use secondary soldering dispensing. Some printers like DEK have an option to mount a syringe with an auger valve to do dispensing after the printing step process. Obviously will not work if you have to

Replacing Screen Printer with a dispensing system? If you have large complex PCBs you will lose a bit of time to say the least. That being said, we have had great success with an I&J Fisnar 'bot with positive displacement (auger) valve for dispensi

The FGLV has a air pressure displacement valve, which is designed for adhesives. A positive displacement valve is better suited for solder pastes. Check with Fuji to see if they offer optional valves.

Hege, can you share more info on the formulation you ended up using for the micro dot dispensing? I'm trying to find the proper metal load and viscosity for the auger valve dispenser that we are developing and it looks like the regular low viscosity

Being a user or former user of both machines (user of Mycronic MY600, former user of Essemtec Scorpion used for adhesive dispensing), it really depends on the need of your business. We use the Mycronic jet printer for multiple processes: SMT printing
