We are having a problem with our Mydata TP9-2U where the machine shuts down during a job with this message seen on the service monitor -- F-MOT1-26/156:MOVFI: MOTOR TIMEOUT Has anybody seen this problem?

If you call service they can also walk you through the motor test. Ask for Glen. Al no longer works for MYDATA.

Anytime before 1pm eastern time today should be good. we have Mycronic installing New My200's this week. He is do to arrive sometime after 1pm. I will be glad to be of assistance.

Thank you to all. The problem was dust in the x wagon motor. We cleaned the motor out and everything works again. Rebecca

You may want to check the brushes in that motor, could very well be the "dust" that you have seen.

The brushes are terribly worn, but we put them back in until we got new ones. We have them and will be replacing tomorrow. Thanks.

Sounds like one of the Z stops is not functioning or needs to be adjusted.
