When I was in China for Nepcon Shenzhen (August 2005) I was told the XP 242E's are going as low as $140k USD. Not sure if for real or just a ploy (we are a re-seller). Could also be a regional thing (competition for market share in China).

According to your low/mid volume production. I suggest you to use the Fuji XP 143, XP 243 or QP 341E with MTU. The cost of new totally less than 250k.

Hi, Can anybody tell me how to clear Fuji XP2 machine unused data. The machine will become very slow in loading data after long time used. Besides deleting program, what else the effective methods to solve this problem.

We have had one in our facility for 2 and 1/2 years. Running it 24/7 Monday - Friday and some weekends as well. Have not had one bit of trouble. Rock solid Fuji.

Not really. You have to use some sort of Fuji software. F4G, Fujicam, Flexa or other "homemade" software packages. Otherwise, you have hand type everything.

I use a XP242 and like the machine but it does have limitations on vision system. I am unsure if those same limitations apply for the XP243. If you need a good reference of a tech on these machines call IBE, SMT Equipment and ask for Jim Bozak. When

Assembleon A Series does it. Sony F-130 and Fuji XP143 both claim it possible on these machines. But I too wonder if there is a real need going down to 01005 from 0201 at least!

Hi, I heard the China distributor is selling so many machines in China, that they can offer lower prices due to volume. Great machine, cannot recommend it highly enough. I will try and find how much we paid. I was 6 months ago now. Grant
