Stephen, This is a board designed for medical apparatus and we're needing to change 3000 placements, it's about 2000 different parts. Some boards have about 90 parts and some have greater amount. Impedence of the board happens to be a great issue

That is pretty much what we did at a previous employer. This was a medical device manufacturer so the validation had to show that the system met the current (circa 1985) standards. 'cept we used a converted fridge.

I'm not sure if the hardware has some of the banned substances, but our customer is in the medical field and the products must meet ROHS requirements. I don't think they would let us send the harware out for testing for fear of future problems. Thank

Many shops require levels for typical component packages on FR-4 or a like substrate to be 2, 9, 15, 1 and 10 mg/in2 for fluoride, chloride, bromide, nitrate, and sulfate respectively. These levels can change for Medical or Automotive.

Stephen, Yes, stencils for individual components. I have located a few laser engraving business that make the stencils custom.I have contacted CircuitMedic to see if they make the stencils custom or not. thanks for your advise. I appreciate it.
