We are still running an EKRA X5. 2008 build. 1,366,000 cycles. Being swapped out in the near future with an X5 Pro. But we're going to hold it for emergencies. We've found the older X5's are pretty bullet proof. Just keep up on the maintenance.

On my one and I think all of them you need to do it manually. Send the stencil shuttle to front, There's two hex screws either side (4 total) you need to loosen. There a little indicator for the different common sizes. Then send the shuttle to the

We have 3 of them. E5 (2000), X5 (2006), X4 Proffessional (2012). All of them can handle our requirements, even E5 have the requested accuracy. X5 have disk PCB clamping which really nice for the operators and X4Prof have SPS (3-stage) witch pneumati

Yes, I have ran into this. They won't even sell you a screw unless you give them money to "register" Trying to start for the lowest cost. I see the DEK could be harder to learn as a new person. Yes, self calibration would be great! Thanks everyone f

It might be worth mentioning that Speedprint (now Europlacer) printers also have a calibrate using your own board capability. They arguably also target higher mix environments given that is the market the pick and place machine targets. DEK uses a v

Since you are new to the industry the more important choice is who will support the machine. If you are buying used you will most likely need to "register" the equipment (pay money) to the OEM if you need support. It is most likely that you will ne

Been working on MPM printers for 20+ years; it's what I do! (CM, Speedline FSE/Trainer, Independent contractor) If MPM built, I keep them running. AP's to Accela's. info@primetechservices.net 858.449.0007
