Make sure the board size is big enough. the placement can not be outside of the board size.

Could you help to tell what is the way to pick/place 0402/0201 using QSA30? Also do you know that without a VME bus Control B/D (illumination card for fixed camera), the new version software (ver.6.0 and above) will not initialize the vision system.

Quad Align.....Cyber-optics....no difference...they both work well. Never tried a micro-bga but i know the upward camera does standard bga parts.

It sounds like the camera needs calibrated and its not something that can be explained that easily. It will not pass if its not calibrated correctly. We use the fixed camera for many different types of fine pitch and dont 'usually' have many problems

I found out that the machine origin was in the wrong place. Once I adjusted that eveything fell into place.

Thank you for the info. I changed the "Light Cntl = 2" into "=1", the system tells "Vision not Init" but the machine works. If change to "= 0" then system tells more problem, and does not work. Do you have better idea about it? For feeder for 040
