Looking into options besides routing for a .032" thick board with components located near edges. Has anyone ever tried water jet cutting or other technologies for a high volume, high mix environment.

Hi Mike, What piece of equipment do you use? I've never heard of using a water jet to route PC boards before, but would like to do some investigating before I buy another traditional router. And why only high volumes?

What software are people using to compute route and retain tabs on panels? I produce some complicated (150 board, 80+ different design) panels, and I haven't found a good way to programmatically compute where to place the tabs. Thanks.

We are running mainly aluminum boards and lots of them are not square shaped. You can panelize any shape board, you need just add little routing to your panel design. I attached one picture with panelization example (routing and V-cut mixed).

Hi I'd like to ask how everyone routes their differential pairs. I'm not about to condem anyone's software ( SW Vendors should maybe take a look at the answers ) but I'm interested how PCB Designers route a board with 256 pairs, 150 microns width an

Hello Gurus, I'm looking for information on FOD generated by routers, more specifically a vacuum equipped Cencorp 1000BR. I want to ensure that this machine can route a populated panel without needing a wash afterwards in order to meet IPC CL3 sta

Does anyone have experience with routing through areas of PCBs with Cu traces running through them. Trying concept to design in functional "wing" portions to our main board in an effort to get 2 in 1 functional boards - a fully functional main PCB

3 lyr with gnd /pwr plane (most of the mixed has sheilding). I guess I am just repeating what Earl has said earlier. It would be nice to ask them for sub-ing it out for scoring as sometimes it is hard to route (SS or DS). I am pretty sure that

FSW, Another suggestions is if you have rail on your product and you are concerned about stress fracturing certain components you could add a routed slot to add relief in that area. So when you snap the rail off their would be no stress in that area
