Armando, Make sure chip wave is pumping evenly across. These TD machines require a lot of maintenance (deep cleaning)to ensure all the holes on nozzle are open... My two cents, George

Check that you are getting an even spray pattern from the fluxer.Check that the chip wave nozzle is clean and if possible feed the PCB in to the wavesolder unit at 90 � or 180�.

Thanks everybody for the answers. I already chose 3 differents solder paste brands. And, how many boards it's necessary to perform these evaluation tests to have a reliable result? 20, 50, 100 boards?? Thanks.

Hi, There are quite a few suppliers so you could have a lot of work on your hands trying them all. Do a bit of research finding out what paste all the big guns use? they spend a fortune doing evaluations etc But you should get at least 3 different
