Figured out that you have to press Ctrl & Enter to get this screen to come up. Also, to remove the LCS, you need to remove the "Y" cable to the left of the control box in the bottom of the Topaz X. All works well now, but still can't get it to load

So, got the Topaz X up and running. It has (4)FNC nozzles on 2, 4, 6, 8, and (4)74A Nozzles on 1, 3, 5, 7. We are trying to optimize it to pick up 8 components, then move over the camera, then to the PCB and place them. In the Mount data, we load

Hello: We have used our Phillips Topaz on a number of volume jobs and been very pleased. A while ago it became apparent that the vision LED's were growing dimmer as evidenced by having to adjust light intensities upward for various components in so

I have been using my topaz X for about 4 years now and I feel that I am fairly knowledgeable about it, at least the functions of it that I use... I am trying to use the LCS to place some qfp chips on a new product and I have set the whole thing up t

We've been using fids as badmarks on panelized boards, with reverse recognition so that an uncovered fiducial is a good mark. It's worked fine with 1.5mm fiducials but now we've run into problems with a board with 1mm fids and we can NOT get it to wo

When I do the adjust to make sure the vision and tolerance is working it works perfectly. But if the machine runs a board I am riddled with this. I have checked the vacuum levels on all the heads and they are within where they are supposed to be for

We are trying to optimize it to pick up 8 components, then move over the camera, then to the PCB and place them. In the Mount data, we load heads 2, 4, 6, & 8 with a 3216 Resistor, then them next 4 components are LED's, and are loaded on heads 1, 3,

It's been awhile but yes, if you do not allow the machine to optimize your program and your placing sequence is such that the tallest component is perhaps the 1st or last placement so it doesn't bump into other components, next is you may look into a

Hi, Thanks for the reply, The fiducial which posed problems is a 1 mm diameter gold plated circle fiducial. The problem with this is that the vision system sees it darker than the surrounding area. The surrounding area is all copper covered with th
