New Pick and Place Operation

Electronics Forum | Wed Jun 02 16:33:08 EDT 2004 | davem

Fuji is the best, but there are other alternatives besides Quad. If you really want to look at Fuji, take a peek at their XP142E series. With "Vision processing on the fly" and a "Mini Turret Head" with 12 placement nozzles it should fit your needs n

New Pick and Place Operation

Hi, I have used both MYDATA TP9, MY9 and more recently MY12. MYDATA machines are just not accurate, and we did everything possible, and every kind of upgrade they had. We ended up putting in Fuji XP based machines, and the differences are very notic

Fuji CP4 and 0402 placement

Electronics Forum | Fri May 23 12:18:59 EDT 2003 | vortex

First off is your CP4 0402 ready? Before we could begin placing 0402's we had to have a vision upgrade. Once you have that or are sure your machine can handle 0402 then you will have to get 8x2 feeders. There may be a way to rig an 8x4 feeder but i'm

board stretch and IPC -D-300G

Electronics Forum | Mon Nov 12 16:14:47 EST 2001 | davef

Yes!!! How can we assemble boards with 20 pitch when we allow 0.008 error to the master art? Excellent question!!! IPC-D-300G has nothing to do with assembler requirements. It is written by and for fabricators, so that they can be comfortable.

Topaz-X "DOWNLOAD VISION ERROR" and "L057 ...)

Electronics Forum | Wed May 08 10:21:05 EDT 2019 | compit

During the start the error "DOWNLOAD VISION ERROR" - instead of "OK" is "NG". - resolved - video card died. But I still have a motor overload error Y1 (L057:CUR.DEV ... Y1 error) - what resistanc

Puzzling CSM84VZ errors, #118 and #120

Electronics Forum | Mon Nov 07 15:05:16 EST 2011 | tpappano

Hi Jeff, This machine (my unit #2) has a couple programs that execute just fine, but when I added additional mounts to one of them I got the "120"error. When I added another new program, the "118" error showed up, and of course, everything in all t

Puzzling CSM84VZ errors, #118 and #120

Tom, V3.78 is truely a bad version and does not include GLOAD. Files taken from the machine with V3.93 can stumble, but can be read... so I would recommend burning V3.93 EEPROMs. Only do this if both machines have Vision and DC Servo Motors present.

Puzzling CSM84VZ errors, #118 and #120

Electronics Forum | Tue Nov 08 21:56:23 EST 2011 | tpappano

Hi Jeff, both units have DC servos, and both appear to have the same vision system, although #2 has an additional upward-looking camera with a high magnification lens for die mounting. If I could make use of your hex files, that would be great sinc

Differences between screen and stencil printing

Electronics Forum | Thu Dec 16 15:00:20 EST 2004 | glaucon

Simple differences. Both processes require a very similar machine platform, controlled motion, vision fiducial recognition and alignment of a substrate (PCB or hybrid ceramic) to the "image", the image being either a stencil (hence stencil printing)

Re: Epoxy printing and wave soldering on 0603 and 0402 components

Hi, I need some urgent informations on stencil design guidelines on how to perform epoxy printing on 0603 and 0402 components. Could anyone help? ( Reflow process is not possible because of some other constriants)
