Does anyone know the correct way to measure the pitch of the cavities between the rows and columns of waffle trays? Everytime that we measure using a caliper, it is always off. Is there a formula to use to determine the exact center of the cavities?

Enter A value of -1 in the Tray pickup X & Tray pickup Y fields. This will disable the automatic empty tray pickup by the machine. I would recommend getting a data sheet on the tray from the component vendor for accurate pocket & tray dimensions. Var

Hi There Just set your Tray Pickup X and Y to -1. This way, the PTF wont reject your tray but you will need to remove manually the empty tray. It's a little bit longer but you wont have any broken pieces. Seeya! Steven

We built a tray that accepts tape. It is made out of a waffle tray and board breakaways. It works very well. We use magnets to mount it on our Y-Wagon teaching it as a tray.
