I know Juki have some software for optimization but you have to purchase it. From experience though I don't find Software as the strong part of Juki machines.

That is the optimal solution. Most placement equipment have very accurate methods to count the fall off per part/nozzle/feeder. Tie that together and you would be golden.

Take a look at Optimal or Optelco out of Austin. I'm not sure how many Equipment Manufacturers they have modules for at this point(FUJI, Universal, JUKI, etc..) but Mydata is one they control very well.

Is this really where you are losing most of your time? Make sure your machine is optimized ie gang pickup, multiple feeders, feeder placement, etc..

"Pros: -You can fit more feeders on your machines. -One dual lane feeder is cheaper than two single lane feeders" none of these is true for Sony SI-G200 machines we have dual lane feeders are bigger than the standard 8 mm feeders so no space savin

On older machines, this would be done by experience, and maybe a quick look at a table in the machine programming and/or service manual. On newer high performance machines it is optimized in the software ( nozzle changes are costly in time). A job no
