SMT component temperature spec

Electronics Forum | Mon Mar 04 17:47:44 EST 2019 | slthomas

The lowest peak temp. I've had the pleasure of working with is 240°C +/- 5°C. I can't imagine a manufacturer going much below that and still saying it's lead-free compatible. It would be interesting to know just how much TAL plays into the affect

Barney, We currently have 3 Contact Systems machines, (1) C3AV and (2) C3AVXs and I can't say enough good things about the machines or the support. It has always, always been there since we started dealing with them in 1991. The Service Dept personn

Any tape--any pitch. On our C5 platform every part number (in your database) has a package type assigned to it. The package type contains the information about the pitch and component orientation. When you load the feeder you scan the part number-

New SMT line - Need equipment selection help

Electronics Forum | Tue May 31 10:09:17 EDT 2005 | gregp

I am a supplier of flexible pick and place equipment, not a end user. Your question is about new pick and place machines with high feeder capacity and SMT lines with redundancy. That is exactly what the C5 Placement machine from Contact Systems is.
