Are your stencils electropolished? I still haven't used an electroformed stencil, but I understand they can be worth the extra money, because of the better release characteristics.

Hi, Does anyone know if any US company is really good a doing Electroform stencils? We tried DEK out of Singapore, but the lead times were very long. Not sure how DEK in the US is though. Regards, Grant

Hi, We have always used laser cut with elextropolish, and are getting more fine pitch, lead-less parts etc. I am considering electroform, and does anyone have any experience on how much better it is over lastercut? Regards, Grant

I have recently tried electroform (100% nickel) stencils. Expensive but awesome paste release. 5 mil foil 10 - 15% aperture reduction for gasketing

We have a board with a 1.0mm pitch BGA. The stencil apertures are 0.0177 inch diameter. We used an electroform stencil with good results.
