We process a fairly wide variety of board designs. So, pot temperature is one of the controllable factors in DOE.

It's possible that N2 vogued at the dawn of the NC age. Once practitioners jiggered their profiles and more importantly, paste suppliers developed a decent product; the demand for inerts declined. Day-off sound like a fair trade.

I've used Fuji for fairly large boards. The largest pcb size is 20" by 18" for pick and place; 18"x14" for chip shooters. I've never used Quad. N
