EC - I hope you don't mind that I add to your question... We are running lead free assemblies now and parts that normally hang on upside down are falling off. Any advice on this from others new to lead free?

Some guys used to hang weight on the spent tape with a binder clip to help pull the tape through. Not ideal of course, but may help in a pinch...if you try it, you'll have to move the weight(s) up every so often.

th e machines wack I Look at the SMT machines at my factory floor it got them nozzles they bad. I best hang out at the chip porogram desk and try to tap that

That's funny you say that, we also have a wall of shame where we hang the pictures. Sometimes it's amazing what people can do when they aren't paying attention. We don't post pictures of the operators though.

Make sure the paper is advancing correctly on your stencil wiper. I have seen this cause major issues. If the paper hangs up, it will smear paste across the bottom of the stencil every time it wipes.

Hahaha ! I have a pretty good idea what's going on......There is a string hanging off of one of the belts. When the string goes by the sensor it's tripping it.

That is a good idea, I was able to find the big file folder before, I can't even find those now. I thought I saw one that had little sliders with hooks to hang the stencil from. Thanks for the info.

Hi What is "fatal error"? Every time when operator raise head to add cleaning paper or add solvent machine just hang like that. need to reboot machine. Pls advise Thanks.
