There has been an increase in the number of defects regarding the solderability of resistor network arrays(pin opens specifically). Has anyone else experienced this? Also, does anyone have any FYI that they would like to share?

Are there any methods for mounting ball grid arrays without a reflow oven? More and more chips are coming in the format and as a student I am not interested in production line quantities.

CBGA stands for Ceramic Ball grid array while PBGA stands for Ceramic Ball grid array. Noticable difference is the substrate used , one is using ceramic and one is using BT laminate. Regards

Am I missing something? Get the Laminate Sizes from your suppliers, and make your own Array Files. You might need to include tooling holes for the Fabrication house but they will surely supply you with the information that they need. This way you

Hi I am using an old Camalot 1818 to dispense squares of epoxy on a substrate. Does anyone know if it is possible to do an array of squares across the entire substrate rather than individually entering the coordinates of each square? Thanks!
