Mydata My100 or Siemens D1?

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 25 00:56:38 EST 2010 | sparrow

Hello, Mydata p&p machines are built for high mixed and low/mid volume production, so if you talk about very low volume - no doubt, mydata is what you can use. You can consider 2 models for your application - MY100SX or MY100LX, depending on the min

Using Stripfeeders on MyData Tray Wagons

Electronics Forum | Fri Jun 27 13:33:59 EDT 2014 | rgduval

I agree with all other posters...strips on the Y-Wagon have always worked out, rather easily. Some people I've met consider it a benefit to having a MyData. However, I would add that MyData's handle strips in the feeders better than most other pick

Mydata M12 issue

Electronics Forum | Tue Sep 08 09:37:55 EDT 2009 | cyber_wolf

We are seeing intermittent X-transducer errors. I notice that the X-wagon has more resistance over the Y-wagon area when I manually push it back and fourth. I am thinking the belt might need replaced. Has anyone else seen this before.

Using Stripfeeders on MyData Tray Wagons

Electronics Forum | Tue Jun 24 14:00:58 EDT 2014 | joekirin

We built a tray that accepts tape. It is made out of a waffle tray and board breakaways. It works very well. We use magnets to mount it on our Y-Wagon teaching it as a tray.

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 20 10:48:43 EDT 2006 | pms

Ev, This error could be caused by any number of problems. Is there an error message in the message window before hardware initiation error? If so, what is it? A failure in any axis (x,y,z,c,theta,y-wagon,tray-wagon) could cause your symptom. Paul

If your problem is happening part way through the calibration the problem might be there is too much friction from your Y-wagon. Measure the friction on the Y-wagon using the service program if it fails or if it is near the max allowed try oiling up

Need help on selecting the SMT equipment for small volume

Electronics Forum | Wed Jul 20 16:14:58 EDT 2005 | grantp

Hi, I would agree with that, and the second hand prices for a TP-9 is very low, and they use the same feeders as the MY series, so if volume ever increases there is an upgrade path. TP should be able to handle any component, and because they can p

MYData placement variations

Electronics Forum | Wed Feb 28 07:30:26 EST 2007 | cyber_wolf

We recently scrapped our TP9-2U because of an issue similar to this. The X-axis would overshoot the pick and place positions. This particular machine(2U)only has 1 X motor. The UFP's and the MY machines have a small fine positioning motor that is on

Mydata (TP9-2U) problem

Electronics Forum | Tue May 07 16:36:04 EDT 2013 | shankar2013

Actually thinking of LX14, but for now I need to solve this problem. We have replaced centering jaws, the steel belts for regular maintenance. I don't think there is anything binding. The strangest thing is every time it shuts down it is right at the
