Marlies, Larry's correct. The terminology used to describe the nozzle is normally brought about by the methods at which the machines generate the "vacuum". Good job Larry, it's like you just won Fuji's WHIZ-QUIZ!! Have fun all!!!!!!!!!!!

well... it depends on what you are placing. Many odd-form placement machines, like Chad or Jot, use some sort of mechanical gripper as a "nozzle" without vacuum. John Thorup

Any Universal GDM users out there, what nozzle type are you using succesfully to dispense glue on 0603's? Single or Dual tip? How about standoffs? Thanks in advance for the info.

Bing, thanks for your reply. The nozzle that I will order needs to have standoffs, because we paste and then dispense glue (not my idea) So using the dimensions that you gave me I found the one that will work with our aplication. Thanks again for

The right paper incorrectly applied can be a problem also. I have seen it on even new Fuji nozzles with the illumination disk bunched up on one side of the tube with a gap on the opposite side.

I don't know about Universal GSM, but for my Mirae's nozzles I use IPA and small US-bath.

We've been using S100 total cycle cleaner for years - diluted in ultrasonic bath for about 10 minutes. Blow dry with medium psi nozzle. Works great.
