Make sure you get a good upward looking camera combo. 4.0 on rear and 2.6 for PTF (platform tray feeder) parts is my favorite. Easy to wrench on, calibrate (if you have a cal. kit), and easy to program. Single beam will run at 2000+ cph and dual b

We have tpsys 1.5.18 on our TP9-UFP. We are attempting to run "Optical Centering Calibration". Following the instructions in the manual, we have centered the cross hairs on the camera frame, loaded a "base" board then the L-19-447 calibration boar

We used to have a UP3000. Long time ago so I'm rusty but isn't there a setting for fid correction that you an program to occur after each board or after 5, 10, etc.? I thought I remembered doing offsets on ours as the camera was a little wacky (old

We are using the Universal tooling..the one with the side plates. I'm not sure what the C-tool is. The machine did not come with much. I'm running the vision system test now..I've never done it before..but I'll let you know what happens with it. To

Not an easy task and requires calibration jig. MPM support field service is your best bet. The adjustment screws for the prizm located on left side of camera will adjust the x direction. There is a set screw on the front that must be loosened first.

It kills me when people say "We have been doing this for 10 years and we will not change" guaranteed one day the shite will hit the fan when they have a screw up. We have ran into this before... Until/unless they are willing to work with you you wil

We have had an RTX-113 since 1997. I echo Cal's comments with respect to experiences with the unit and the desire for the angle viewing. Don't know if the angle viewing is available on the RTX-113. You should look at a unit with that option before ma

Daxman, The diagnostic results didn't look very pretty. Especially on the vision x standard deviation. Any time there is an asterisk, that is a bad thing. The failure number for all axis, excetp theta, is .0002. Could need more air flow to the x

Daxman, Try this: - it might help your histogram. The camera may be operating production reads at or close to the z-axis drive limit but you don't know really. Write a dummy program that will allow you to load a PCB into the centernest at vision h
