that sounds like bad relay or relay control. are you in position to check it on relay pins? I would go from there.

The problem with the Sunsda units is that they use a special circuit board, not PLC and Chinese software for programming, so getting into the program to find out what is going on is a problem. Have you replaced the SMEMA cable? I have seen bad ones.

Hi Tushar, That is the conclusion that I was coming to before Gary's suggestion. I think a sensor will probably be the best solution but it is good to have options and back-up plans. Thanks everyone
