I don't know what machine type you have or what the nozzles look like but we use a standard nozzle with an I.D. of either .8 or 1.5mm. We rotate and pick up the part somewhat slowly.

I'm with Grant on the .005" foil thickness. The key is to keep your aspect ratio (aperture width/foil thickness) over 1.5, laser cut, and I like trapezoidal aps. too.

Hi I mean once I open the jar and load into the print machine, paste can use about 1.5 day and start giving a lot of problem. I want to know how long it can be use in print machine.Please advise.

funding from who?. we are dealing with the same thing here. the solder paste cost is roughly 1.5 times SnPb, and the cost of bar solder is thru the roof

TAL during reflow

Can someone point out what sort of defects at the joint I can expect if solder is above liquidus for 3-4 minutes rather than the typical 1 - 1.5 minutes. Voids? Grainy joints? Poor wetting? Thanks
