Yes, you are correct. I converted it (tryed to at least) by hand and did not carry by decimal place far enough in converting mm to mil. I double-checked my conversion and confirm 1mm = 40mil. Thanks for correcting me.

Try trimming the leads to no more than 0.020" instead of 0.040" (1mm). The extra labor on the front end may save on the back end especially if almost all your boards have bridges in this area.

DeanM, if I understood correct, you use fiducial with dimension 0.1 mm and increased it to 0.15 mm. Why use use small fiducials? You don't have free space on your PCBs?

DeanM, thanks for explanation, I will know about this "feature" of some mounters, cause I worked with Samsung, Assembleon and now work with Mirae and I never had a problem with fiducials recogntion with 1 mm diameter.

The published Fuji CP6 placing accuracy specification is plus/minus .1mm I would say that your machine is running just fine.

I am planning to attach 1760 pin BGA. The pitch is 1mm and Balls are SAC alloy type. The PCB is for aerospace use and expected to work in harsh environment. What is the recommended PCB surface finish and the attachment process for such a applicatio

Hi experts, Is it normal that a stencil of 0,1mm would produce 45% solder paste volume being printed over the board? Or is a property linked to the solder paste? thanks in advance

I realize that I wrote wrong. Sry The stencil of 0,1mm of thickness is printing 45% more volume. I know this becouse the SPI is setup with the stencil gerbers and the messurements have a median of 145% of volume. what do you mean with excesive sold

Did you try 0.12 or 0.1mm nano coated stencil @ 10 mil aperture? A soak time type profile with long reflow time could help.

Hi Chris, It's arround +/- 2MM. There was a gap if running pcb with thickness 1MM. The PCB position below the rail table.
