Quad 4C part placement rejection

Electronics Forum | Thu Nov 17 17:44:19 EST 2011 | bobpan

Tim, 1. You dont need the vacuum verify if the quadalign is working properly. If you have the part quad-aligned and dont have alignment type at 0 it will never 'not' place a part. More or less...the vac verify was needed for the chucking machine (3c)

Yes to what John said. Especially about finger oil on the bulb or you will replace them often enough to burn out your retina. Thought about using the plaster but never had a big problem with alignment.

QUAD 4C mk2 Z axis

Electronics Forum | Mon Feb 04 11:01:44 EST 2013 | bobpan

The way its supposed to work...is....when you do a function 30 the z axis should step down until the nozzle tip is seen in the quad align or laser align. The readout should have a nozzle height but if its the earlier firmware for the machine it might

Quad IVc Part rejection issue

Electronics Forum | Thu Aug 16 14:29:00 EDT 2012 | bobpan

Sounds to me like a dirty quad-align. If you have cleaned the lens and have the same results then you may have dirt on the inside of the quad-align. The only fix is to replace it or blow it out with an air gun. Unfortunately it is not easy to tell if

quad align init problem

Electronics Forum | Thu May 20 09:47:25 EDT 2010 | pforister

Is this a single head Quad IVc or a dual headed line? if it is a dual line you can swap the align cards in the front bay between the two heads and see if the symptom follows. The card on the far right is a transport card, shouldn't need to swap tha

Quad Feeders performance improvement

Electronics Forum | Sun Feb 10 16:04:28 EST 2013 | marcelorotofrance

Recently I posted a query about my Quad IVc align problem. At the same time, I am working with the feeders we have received with the machine. These are from different origins and antiquity. Some are faster than others. The slower ones have discrete t
