0402's and Gluing.............

Russ, Are you placing 0402's on glue by using a stenil at present? I am afraid the appertures will be too small for the glue to release from the stencil. Are you having any issues with this? Thank you for the reply. Mike

I agree! I am using a SAC305 no clean from Alpha. I have noticed that even hand probing with volt meter leads requires me to press very hard on the pads to bust through the flux residue.

Can anyone give me any information on the longivity of titanium insert wave pallets. What I am looking for is the integrity of thin walls over several hundred cycles and the interface between the insert and the durostone material.

WSOL and solder pot

The way it works is the liquid solder immediatley cures (or should I say burns) the WSOL where ever it touches it. This hardens and keeps it in place and protects whatever is under it. Some of the WSOL falls of in the pot. I am suprised that the burn
