Also to diagnose if it is the correct axis go to the "calisim" or the "axis position" option in utilities and get to the "current position" menu. Estop the machine and move the relevant axis by hand and see if the encoder count goes up.

I don't work on quads but I can give you some things to look for... Each of the moving axis work off a motor that is controlled by a "drive". Some of these drives have a fault or error output that is connected to the motion controller. One of your

I have a Universal Instruments Corporation TAB Bonder. Oldish machine. Initial fault on machine : - "Axis Head 1 Z DAC Limit error during move absolute command" Other fault seen after we reset power, Zeroed axis etc. - Axis Head 1 - Z error not re

Hi, We have problem with y-axis offset at YM84 After setting the ORIGIN machine operate exactly but after sometime y-axis recieves offset bis 5-10mm.After repeated setting ORIGIN Y-coordinat became exact. The same things take place if we operate in W

I did try to null the axis - no improvement. I have AMC software and tried (almost) everything related to electronics (except for changing linear encoders, but this seems to be OK - when I move axis manually, position numbers change smoothly). It loo

all, The placement was off on one panel ( 4 up ) out of the batch. It was off by approx 1mm in the y-axis. No obvious faults found with machine. Any experience of such problem - I am guessing this is a sign of something wearing on the machine or s

Deni, Yep, we found that one the other day, too. And, yes, axis mounted is set to 1. We tried setting it to 0, saving, then back to 1 (again, hoping to clear a software flag/fault, if that's what it is). Thanks, ..rob

Well, we finally got the machine to power up and fully boot, but now we are having issues with zeroing the axes. X, Y and Theta zero OK, and the board conveyor runs, but when it tries to zero the PWC, the rail moves to the rear of the machine, hits

Hi all, was wondering if you have any ideas on how to correct the problem we are encountering with our S25 machine. The machine is giving an X-axis counting error at gantry 1. I replaced the x-axis linear reader and the linear scale as well, but st
