ni, I had similar problem too.I bake PCB in SW mashine - about 8h ,T=90 C.Problem is in the base material of PCB - there are moisture in the material.After my complaint to PCB factory , they change material and the problem disappear.

If you bake the boards at 125 degrees celcius for about 4 hours it should work. I would also suggest that you talk to the PCB supplier to take care of this baking for you. NOTE: PCB�s with an Entek or any other type of OSP finish should not be baked.

Charly: Why do you "need to bake the PCb due to moisture issue", if you're not going to use the board? Why bake the board, just to put it back in storage, absorb moisture, and require baking again?

Baking boards, especially multi layer, will help with blowholes and delimitation, but not with solder balls. Normally about 120c for 1 hour or so is sufficient. I usually will not go to this trouble unless a board has proven to be a problem or if th
