I once worked for a new branch of a company. We had a board where one of two tants would shift in the oven. When I phoned up HQ because they had ran the board before as soon as I said the product name their guy said "C148 shifts in the oven" He knew

Sorry i didnt explain it vey well, the parts that are misaligned are always sitting next to these particular tanatlum capacitors. It affects 0805 parts and A tsop36 and can even cause a short on a bga right in the corner where the tant sits.If you chan

I have contacted both vendors with this issue and the both said they have never heard of such a problem and that they could offer no type of explanitation. The leads are 90 sn/10pb and 98sn/2pb respectivley. The parts are all connected to the vcc and

I wouldn't raise the temps just slow the conveyor, You need to get the PCB "soaked in". It seems as if you are applying more thermal energy than the PCB can accept in all areas. Does this oven have convection heating? Hopefully so. I have found t

My operator applied flux gel ALPHA WS-609 on MG P/N FTH101XAP (CAP ALUM 100UF 50V 20% SMD) before aqueous washing the PCBAs. Solder paste used was ALPHA WS-820. Now the caps have yellow stains. Any solution to this is appreciated. Tks

wlsmt: You’ve got to help us out here: * Why did you apply solder paste to capacitors prior to water washing the PCBA [where the caps were attached?]? * Did you reflow the Alpha WS-609? * How is the Alpha WS-820 involved in this? * Talk about the

Sorry davef. I was not being clear. PCBAs came out cold soldered after being reflowed the first time with ALPHA WS-820. The flux gel ALPHA WS 609 was supposed to be applied only onto the terminations of caps where ALPHA WS-820 was for a second refl
