Dek265 Upward vision is dim. Replaced bulb. Vision is still to dark to see anything. Bottom you can see fine. Any ideas?

Hey, Give me a few minutes, I just happen to have a DEK not being used right now, let me pull the front cover off to refresh my memmory, I think there is a Gain POT in there somewhere.

Hey, going to lunch now. Just for kicks, did you try to re-load Mint files? They may have been lost some other way, I have seen the DEK software do some crazy stuff in the past. Talk to You in a bit.

I don't have another dek to swap cards with and i'll keep you informed on the problem. It's running fine now but I don't think it will make it through the day. Thanks for the help.

Robert, you will have to re-load the MINT software. It only takes a couple of minutes to do this. This will fix out the errors. Refer to your DEK manuals on how to carry out this function. Cheers, Alan.

Check the surge protector on top of the power supply. Pretty common problem on the 265s.

By-pass the surge protector on top of the power supply. Located at the bottom of the machine. Pretty common on older 265s.

Pretty sure. in Y3 enclosure. Page 6.11 in manual VR3 sets the slope of Amp Gain.
