I'm thinking vibe feeder as well. I saw this alot on older machines (Quad IVC) vibe was set too high making parts jump around. If it is a vibe feeded, look for spillage behind the feeder base.

We use a conveyor before our oven and put a footswitch on it to send the next board or jump the pins so that it just sends the board depending on delay needed.

Is this Al tape you guys are talking about insulated? If not, and if it jumps the tc wires, it'll effect your values.

Fuji sent me insructions on how to jump the connections on the mark reader board. I did it just today so I will see how it goes and inform you in about a week.

I cant touch the pre-heat as it would affect all other products or so i am told by the Qaulity manager. Maybe they think i am Mickey Mouse and the pcb�s jump around the factory like a scene from Fantasia :) if this was only the truth.

Not sure if this has any bearing on the problem but did you check to see that T2 and T3 are jumped on the speed control board per the first note in the prodedure?
