Make sure your matrix tray is up high enough. The components in the matrix tray should be at least at board level. Also check your component height in the package list. If all that is OK then, check those Z locks I spoke of earlier.

Does anyone recycle SMT Matrix Trays? I found some old posts from many years ago, but those suppliers are not in business any longer. Curious if anyone recycles SMT reels or tubes either or if this all goes into the recycle dumpsters / landfills?

Hi ChrisN Have you talked with your supplier that is sending the components into your plant in trays. They are putting the components into the trays or their source is. One of them should be able to give you credit for each returned tray. Ken Bli

Thank you very much for the input. I figured out my problem to be that once I defined the tray, I did not changeover the table top just as Bob said. I'm good to go now, I think anyways. I was so used to the IQ feeders, changing over the matrix tray

Autoprogram will use whatever tape feeder width is defined for that component (SMD type)and will adjust the pickup accordingly. Autoprogram will not tell you where to place Vibs and Matrix trays. You need to decide where to mount the holders. Then m
