We have had this happen. The Z-ball screws do go bad in IP3's. We replaced the ball screw and the problem went away. As mentioned improper belt tension will cause the servo to make loud noises. But if you say the movement is rough, then the ball scr

The noise kit I'm referring to involves the installation of a new interface card in your PC, a new sensoray interface card in the card cage (brd 7), soldering/bridging of two DC COM points and new DB cables.

Happen to me on a conveyor after a GSM but not a PCT. Had to install small caps to kill the noise on the conveyor PLC input from the GSM. Also, might be a question of timing betweem th GSM and the conveyor.

We used to do this, but we dont any more. Never found something with the Mole. We have had 2 blowers come to a halt due to stuck bearings, but that was easely spotted without a check. (Temperature alarm and Huge whining noise)

Your circuit would consist of: * White noise generator * ~30Khz bandpass filter * Amplifier * Power supply You can find modules for these functions on the web. Good luck.

Banging and knocking is not good. The noise that we hear on ours is more of a whining. .1mm runout and rough edges = time to replace in my opinion.

Thanks , If you reduce the placement precision the X-Axis does not make any noise but than I had placement /pickup problems when it comes to Ic's.Slowing down did not make any difference.

The machine has linear servo motors. It has to be VERY level. You may want to check that this is the case. If this doesnt work.....make sure the encoder scales are clean. Good Luck

Sizzling would be hard to hear our machine has forced air preheaters along with all the other ambient noise, so I'm going to say no sizzling. I've tried really slowing the conveyor down to see if it helped, I saw no noticeable difference.
