Electronics Forum | Tue Jun 04 18:07:26 EDT 2002 | peterson

Well-said, lad. I strongly concur. It is not too late for US OEM and EMS companies. We have to retool and rethink the way we do business. If we do, we can still succeed, though I doubt we will ever see the numbers that we saw during the 1997-2000 boo

Not that it is important, but Manncorp is not an O.E.M. They buy equipment and put there name on it. Sometimes this can lead to service issues (sometimes they need to call the OEM to resolve issues which can lead to delays). I am not saying that th

Soltec Parts - cheap?

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 02 10:27:05 EST 2006 | Loco

I have the same experience, take their oils and greases, same thing, call their suppliers and everyting is Twice to 4times! as cheap. On the other hand they dont bother taking of their OEM stickers so their spare parts are quiete easy to track down,

So are you more concerned with cleaning the board than fixing the issue? Are you employed by the OEM? If so, your main concern should be to eliminate the cause of the contamination which sounds like it's coming from the board house. But if you are

Used Equipment Support (Registration?)
