You could send the boards out for contract cleaning. Saponification and DI wash. I take it your rework process does not keep track of serial or ID numbers? What about tracking lot codes on the replacement part? maybe it's unique enough to isolate

TDK can supply the cables and software, you supply the PC, all they need is machine serial number to suply you with correct version of software. let me know if you are intersted and you can contact them direct. thanks john

I need the software to run the camalot 1818, I can't get any support from camalot because the machine is to old. So I really need this software. My serial number is 108.

One more thing, check the serial connection to the PC in the back of the machine, If its intermitant, you will have all kinds of problems as well.

If Amistar can't help try service@ipulse.co.jp I think you may struggle to get this sort of software for free. Tenryu has a history of using hard locks on their off-line software matched to the supplied floppy drive/ CD with serial # etc. Good Luck.
