When are conveyors required

Electronics Forum | Wed Jul 24 12:03:10 EDT 2013 | rway

I agree with JDengler. It is easier to service a machine if there are conveyors between them. You need to also consider how the units get transferred, SMEMA signaling or some other method. Some equipment doesn't support this and an output conveyor

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 04 10:02:25 EST 2021 | djwave

Hi Aharper, We have an EKRA E5 too and starts to do this error "machine offline" like yours. I chequed like you say, the SMEMA ports, but seems all is good. You can send me the service Manual if you have it?, any clue on that error you can explain m

SMEMA Interface minimum requirements

Electronics Forum | Fri Oct 18 15:29:16 EDT 2019 | kylehunter

Hi all. We are currently trying to build a downstream bypass to have our final conveyor feed into our oven, which doesn't have a SMEMA interface. Right now we have to manually connect the two downstream ready pins by hand. I have a good idea of how I

Melted BGA part

Electronics Forum | Thu Sep 15 16:07:19 EDT 2016 | davef

In electronic manufacture, it's never good when "oozing" is part of the conversation. "Bridging" that's bad too. "Melting" sometimes good, sometimes bad. Got pix? How about some nice color pictures?

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 06 12:25:54 EDT 2010 | isd_jwendell

I agree, setting a standard for the pcb fab shop is good. I use a fiducial a little smaller than the spec you mentioned, I use 30 instead of 40 mil, which is the minimum recommended for my machine. The rest of the spec (SMEMA Standard 3.1) appears th

poor print definition

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 21 09:19:50 EST 2006 | Chunks

Hi Mark, Not to be condescending, but is your 265 camera in focus? I've seen one instance of this. If its not the camera, and you are sure all your other parameters are good, , then poor definition can be from bad snap-off or bad gasketing. Snap

Bad business practice and disrespect to SMTnet

Electronics Forum | Thu Jun 06 18:16:58 EDT 2019 | davef

The nerds say they've fixed the problem. They say the problem was caused by bad, obsolete code. Based on my review, I believe that they corrected the problem. Good job nerds!!! Hopeful, our faith in man [and woman]-kind is restored with this fix.

Mirae 1030 Y-Axis error

Electronics Forum | Mon Aug 22 08:54:15 EDT 2016 | bobpan

More than likely the encoder scale or read head has an issue. Many times.. oil/dirt/water get on the scale and cause a bad spot or bad area. Try to clean the scale with a lint free cloth and alcohol. You should also be able to see the read head and m
