I should explain that this bake out was performed after population. The solder paste slumped terribly after this bake out. However, after the back out and after reflow, no bridging.

Generally AOI machines find SMT inspection easier than Thru Hole. We manufacture a mchine desighned for mixed technology boards including large components (75mm high). Solder inspection is now possible at the post reflow stage.
