MYDATA My9 Theta error

Electronics Forum | Thu Nov 15 19:56:18 EST 2012 | rgduval

I would have said it sounded like a motor/encoder problem...but, since you found the broken resistor, that was likely the source of your issue. The resistor and capacitor are a filter for the motor, MyData likes to put them on nearly all of the moto

I'll try swaping cards and see if the problem follows the card. So far, my guess would be the motor going bad. I did change the brushes, X wagon cables and every cable that goes to the midas unit. But that didn't fix it. The problem is that to replac

Hello, Finaly, What was the problem on your Hydra head? Maybe my message comes too late, but my answer might help ... It could be linked to a problem with the Hydra Z motor / encoder. In certain circumstances, the Hydra Z axis is not in the correct

I forgot to mention in my original post, I actually replaced the theta belt and cleaned the head. All the tools rotate as they should. When I run the burn-in I get no errors. I can run the "test sub-systems" on the head in the service program and

No, each card in LP servo rack drives only one motor. But there is an servo cotnroller board (actually 3 of them) in the VME rack (where all computers are). Third one from the left(slot13) controls head2 theta and z axis. That might be a cause of you

Hi all. A "newbie" on the forum, hopefully someone can help! I have a Quad IVc that has developed a problem on its Theta Axis. In performing the Homing routine it does not spin the nozzle through 360 deg as it should. It does a small turn ~45deg o

Yep, checked the nozzle (that was my first port of call). Had a look at it under our microscope, and also swapped it out for another nozzle to be sure. The problem still exists. You can set the theta speed, but only to Fast, Medium or Slow. I've

F-MOT-MSETDYN Theta/12: No axis movement detected by transducer

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 18 14:46:38 EST 2020 | bilalfarooqi

Hi all, We were able to fix the issue. We replaced the MOT cards with the MOT cards in the good machine. That, however, did not resolve the issue. The issue was very basic; one of the fuses (fi fuse) located to the left of the MOT cards became open.

MYDATA HYDRA Z/156 error on Hardware Intialization.

I swapped the mi boards with ones from a working My12 machine and the same results. To recap my problem: On "Hardware Initialization" the center jaws open and close, the Hydra Theta belt moves back and forth, the Hydra head moves all the way down an

LandrySMT, after monitoring the errors and considering what we replaced, I also decided to replace the Z hydra motor and encoder. That fixed our problem. I looked at your message and I agreed that the next step was to replace this part. We ran hi
