Hi Mark, I'm guessing from your letter that you are not asking about traces, just component values. We use a tool called 'smart tweezers' (catchy, eh?) to do jsut what you are asking. Very easy for our QA department to use a BOM to compare agains

We are in need of a low cost system for the rework of various SMT devices. Ideally the machine should support BGA, SQFP, and large PLCCs. Is it a dream to ask for SMT tweezers, a regular iron, and a convection pencil as well? Want a machine to cover

We use copper grease on the bolts of our wave solder machines solder pot. The working temperature is up to 1000degC. I believe that the boiling point of mineral oil is a little over 300degC and you will exceed this with iron temperatures, especially

Hi Stephen, Once they've been soldered down, you're stuck with doing touch labor on each and every one. But you might be suprised how quickly this can be done with the right tools. Are they all the same value resistor? If so, that should make things
