A customer of mine is using Chemtronics (Circuit Works) CW3300 Overcoat pen. This is an acrylic conformal coating. It cures at Room temperature. They need something similar that can be UV cured in a pen form. Any suggestions?

I recently witnessed a process in which the solder pot operator used Techspray WSOL water soluble masking to cover the areas around a connector that was to be soldered on the solder pot. He did not wait for the WSOL to cure. He soldered immediately.

Hi, I've been looking into UV cureable conformal coating and the UV ovens but a chemist I know is very negative about this. He suggest by heating standard conformal coating to 90deg for a couple of minutes will make the product good enough to handle

We use Dymax �Ultra Light-Weld�. We use an ADAC Technologies handheld for uV cure. What do you use?

Some UV cure coatings do not have the correct rheology for sticking to small sharp corners. 984 is one of them. MicroCoat Technologies, Allen, TX makes one that works every time.
