The melting of the solder during reflow itself can center up or skew a component. This could be pad size differential, incorrect pad size, unequal solder deposition amounts, pad spacing in reference to component size just to name a few.

Just make more specific shapes/packages for these size parts and decide on a naming convention that's easy to decipher then stick with it.

Nope, can't do that, I get : Element NAME is undefined in QMART. and a whole page of debug info. I did fill in all the required fields. I was trying to post it in the parts and supplies forum.
