Hello all! I will have un flux evaluation very soon ( lead free, leaded, water base, solvent base), so if somebody do this already can tell me something about this, there is un evaluation list with what I shod fallow or check list at the end? Thanks

Possible cause is the Middle Loading Sensor. Check the ML flag. Also, this problem occurs when the z-axis base slips. Need to level the base and re-calibrate z-axis origin.

I would go with Algorithm based, the reliability is better that I have seen in the feild. Tom Andersen

tombstonesmt: Ammonia based masks can create solderability issues after they are removed. You can get non-ammonia based latex mask material but down side is slower cure and cost a little more as they have higher levels of latex etc

Any alcohol based flux will outperform a water based (VOC free) flux. If one thing I learned in my 35+ years in the electronics industry "Water and electronics is a bad combination". Patrick

Hello, can you explain better what do you want to check? Alignment is done based on fiducial check and then you can do some offsets, based on the print. So I am not sure what do you want to say...

Bought spray fluxer unit extension to our machine ;) AFAIK water based fluxes are not available for foam, and we didn't wanted to move toward the alcohol based ones because of theirs multiple drawbacks

Of course there are solvents which are less harmful to the environment than others. The operative phrase is less harmful. As a rule, water-based chemistries are greener than solvents. There are some solvent blends designed for aqueous-based eq
