My TP-11 is not getting enough juice to the upper Z-lock to pull it out of the way. Its not the locks.. I put new ones in and I get the same thing. Its like I am not getting enough voltage from the XWB. Has anyone seen this before ?

Bad Z-force sensor or it is checking the board height in a hole.

The solenoids seem to work properly and there are no problems when initiating the Z-axis

Correct, if the Z comes into contact on it's downward stroke during init this can cause the problem you are seeing

It could be the indicators inside the Z head, have you tried cleaning them? Can you post an image of the error that appears on the monitor?

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll try it tomorrow and let you know if that worked. I do grease it but there may be residual older grease still there.

The mot mi board is the first board but it is two boards tied together so you need to undo the screws on the first 2 boards on the left.

There are several things that can cause these errors. It sounds as if you have 2 problems. A (Z) problem and a theta problem. 1. Check that the Z-locks are functioning properly in the service program. Make sure that when they are un-locked they don'
