The amp is mounted on the back side and is black. 4 total mounted for x and y axis.....swap the 2 that are y axis amps. If you have never servo tuned before on a quad machine you not going to be able to do it. There is way to many things that you nee

You can either optimize both boards from the very start to the same table top or you can assign the feeders under configure tabletop to the same spot that they were in when you optimized the first program. Remember that you can optimize many differen

Sounds like you have a non-IQ system? If you can, get one! It makes life much easier. Costly, though! Anyway, as stated above, your best bet is to assign multiple boards to the same table top. If the two boards are 99% similar, use a full opti

We have the IQ system. The problem that I was having is that when I load one board to the other, I want to avoid the table top changeovers. So I figure if I can make certain tabletops to run certain boards the changeovers would be much less. I though

I'm having problems with Quad QSP-2 pick n place machines recognizing fiducials. We are cleaning the fiducials, but that's tedious and time consuming ( I don't know anyone who routinely cleans them). We have solder mask clearance around the fiducials

These are dropped/mis-placed by the machines. We have older Quad QSP-2's. My concern is it's easy for the operators to overlook the dropped parts, keep running the job and when they're done, throw away parts (inexpensive resistors aren't such an issu

I would suggest to check your servo amps. on both gantries and both axis.Does it rattle both heads or just one? Since you did not specify this in your question,I will say check all 4 servos in the back side of your machine.Hope this will help and goo

If the part is 10mm or less as long as you are scanning it near the top...it should work. The other possible problem is dirt on the quadalign lens. Clean off the lens and watch it when it homes....both heads should home the same way. If the head jum

Seems to be fighting to hold its position. 1. Check for anything worn out...possibly idler bearing/pulley and/or the belt. 2. Maybe it could use servo tuning...this may help but usually servo tuning is not that critical. 3. Clean the scale and the

I've been running Quads for over 10 years, and I love them. I've had almost every model, from the 100, to our current IVCs, and QSP2. We are getting busier, and I'm thinking about upgrading. I have TONS of feeders, so the simple solution would be t
