In addition to reducing oxides my understanding is that nitrogen increases the surface tension of solder (I've also read the inverse). Bottom line, Nitrogen reduces rework, improves quality, improves solder appearance, and reduces maintenance. Shea

On our Pilarhouse Jade we use nitrogen to cool the belt that drives our solder pump as well as keep the amount of oxygen to a minimum in our solder pot to reduce dross.

Its the kiss 103 selective solder machine. The end of the travel, it's the x axis. when i tried jogging it nothing happens just makes a noise. Thanks for responding.
