I've got a 100mm X 70 mm Dense PCB...The via holes used is 1.0 mm some are under SOIC's ...what problems that this type of via design poses ? all ideas are welcome ! thanks and regards, armin

Hi All, I'm recently receiving an IC in package for Ic's sensitive to moisture and not in another times, Somebody know how can I know if this Is moisture sensitive or not(which is the rule ?)?. the Ic is a soic14. thanks I appreciate your help.

| I was wondering what measurements are used to define pitch? Generally we would use it for the distance from lead center to lead center of an IC. For instance, an SOIC would usually have a pitch of 0.050" or 50 thousandths of an inch (1.27mm)|

After reflow proces in convection-IR oven we find broken body of SOT23 elements. There is no problems on other elements (SOIC, chip R,chip C, etc) Where is the problem? Thanks in advance!

Ditto. We run double sided with no special solder or glue with same profile. We place 0806's and soic's. dave
